The "1883" in this brand's name is no joke—they were founded in the late 19th century and they've been making men's tailored shirts ever since. The Houston-based company has dug some of its classic designs out of its vault for their 1883 line, bringing them up to date by adding certain contemporary design features and removing others they felt were too stuffy. Hamilton has also collaborating with Nick Wooster on a line they've dubbed Project Wooster—if you're familiar with Wooster, you already know those shirts will be anything but boring. Hamilton's shirts are all still hand-made in their Houston workshop.
