EVENT RECAP | WINGS + HORNS FW15 TRUNK SHOW

During January 2015 Nomad traveled to New York to view collections for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. Upon entering a gallery located in the upper west side of Chelsea neighbourhood, we were immediately impressed with wings + horns' offering for FW15. Under the direction of a new designer, and fresh off their successful 10 year anniversary, wings + horns showcased a collection that was muted and natural in colour palette, with an emphasis on functionality and military-inspired design. The showroom was outfitted with an oversized spacesuit commissioned by Byborre design studios. The signature 3D printed fabrication was utilized in their limited edition seasonal booklet as well as their Byborre bomber. Everything was on-point.

The atmosphere and presentation in the showroom was simply too impressive not to share with our clientele. We partnered with w+h to replicate the experience by installing the Byborre space suit in our shop and bring the collection to Toronto. We were joined by wings + horns head of sales Adam Mills and Toronto native Dwayne Vatcher, who is currently marketing manager, to join us for the event. We invited our most valued clientele to browse the collection via private shopping appointment. The showroom vibe allowed customers to seen the collection in it's entirety and speak directly with wings + horns representatives about the brand. In addition, clientele had the opportunity to view and purchase the exclusive M-51 fishtail parka made exclusively for NOMAD as apart of our 10 Year Anniversary project. Afterwards we opened up the space to the public who joined us for drinks and music.

Special thanks to the w+h team for joining us.
